Rotating annular disk with stiffeners

[Done as a part of undergraduate term project]

In this project we made theoretical and computational analysis of the various modes and frequencies of vibration of a rotating annular disk (inspired by rotating data storage devices) and the effect of adding radial stiffeners to the disk.
